DIRECTOR

Muhammad Fadhli Tenrigangka is a Marine Scientist and operational leader who brings a rare 360-degree perspective. A graduate of the University of Indonesia (Master’s in Marine Science) and Padjadjaran University (Bachelor’s in Marine Science), Muhammad’s career is rooted in the deep sea. He began as a Commercial Diver, eventually rising to Supervisor of a Commercial Diving team, where he managed high-stakes underwater inspections and subsea operations.

​Transitioning into HR and General Affairs, Fadhli mastered the complexities of organizational health, personnel management, and corporate strategy. As Director, he now synthesizes his technical subsea expertise with his administrative leadership to protect Indonesia’s oceans. A passionate advocate for Marine Megafauna, Muhammad is dedicated to ensuring that conservation efforts are backed by both rigorous science and professional operational excellence

DEPUTY DIRECTOR

Ariq doesn't just study coastal ecosystems he fights for them. From diving remote reefs in Indonesia to shaping national blue carbon policy in Jakarta and now leading cutting-edge research at the National University of Singapore, he's built a career where science meets real-world impact. With a UC Santa Cruz master's, 45+ field assessments across Southeast Asia, and a track record of turning research into policy, Ariq is exactly the kind of ocean advocate the climate crisis demands.

FINANCIAL MANAGER

Muthya has been passionate about marine conservation since she started her undergraduate studies in 2014. Her curiosity about how humans interact with marine life has motivated her to join various conservation projects, especially through social surveys that explore why certain species matter to people's lives. Some of her work involves studying the importance of sharks and rays to local communities and tracking the trade of fully protected freshwater stingrays.

FIELD OPERATION MANAGER

Fauzi had received his Marine Science Degree from Padjadjaran University. He has maintained excellent analytical and leadership skills through his experience. He is also involved in addressing marine conservation issues in Indonesia through IBSF projects. Especially on Freshwater Stingrays in Burneo, West Kalimantan.

DATA ANALYST

Sanny loves analytical data. She is currently pursuing her master degree in Ocean University of China with focus on statistical data analysis for fisheries and marine science. She previously worked as shark and marine turtles conservation projects assistant in WWF-Indonesia. She is interested in data analytics and really open for further collaboration within developing marine database to support marine conservation in Indonesia

ADVISOR

Muhammad Ichsan is currently a PhD Student at the University of Sunshine Coast, Australia conducting research on Critically Endangered Wedgefish. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Marine Science from Padjadjaran University, Indonesia, and a Master's Degree in Conservation Biology from the University of Queensland, Australia. He previously worked with the private sector in marine tourism and international conservation NGOs focusing on threatened marine species, international development projects in sustainable fisheries and was the Technical Program Manager of the Regional Secretariat of CTI-CFF.

ADVISOR

Niomi began her career in marine conservation in 2015 based at Komodo National Park. She is passionate about this world of work and has experience working with various international non-governmental organisations, including RARE and Conservation International Indonesia, where she supported programs focused on improving small-scale fisheries management in coastal communities across Indonesia. These experiences have informed her understanding of the importance of policy-making in biodiversity conservation, and she received her Master's Degree in Coastal Science and Policy Program at UCSC.
