It’s started with an idea!
We are super thrilled to announce our first conservation project! We will work on Incentive-based approaches for biodiversity and well-being outcomes in small-scale fisheries in a few sites in Indonesia. This project supported by UK Biodiversity Challenge Funds led by University of Oxford and partnership with IPB University and a number of local NGOs.
This 3-years project will be a larger work on the initial project led by Dr Hollie Booth in Aceh Jaya Shark MPA and Tanjung Luar, the largest targeted shark fisheries in the world. From this project we believe we can contribute to the improvement of coastal community well-being and management of sharks and rays in Indonesia.
